Fun London Landmarks Photo Shoot - Family Photography around Big Ben, St-Paul’s Cathedral and Tower Bridge

That would be my fourth year capturing this beautiful family and our photoshoots are the highlight of my summers. We always have such incredible fun exploring London parks that we decided to switch it up this year and explore Central London instead. Westminster area was the perfect backdrop to start our fun London landmarks family photo shoot. There are hardly any people walking on Westminster Bridge before 7am so we had all of Big Ben, London Eye and Parliament Square to ourselves. The telephone boxes are always a hit with young children. They do pretend calls to the Queen, play peek-a-boo, run in and out and when cheekiness levels arise, organise chase games around the Square.
A short bus rise away is St-Paul’s Cathedral and Millennium Bridge. These locations need no introduction, especially if you are a fan of Netflix show THE CROWN. The empty streets / bridge are a great playground for the little ones. Our last adventures of the morning took place in a lovely little park by Tower Bridge. The views from Southbank are so impressive, especially overlooking Tower of London.
As much as I appreciate what London has to offer in terms of architecture, I have to admit that this is not what drives or informs my London Vacation Family Photo Shoots. No, I am looking to capture the love and the fun. Capturing sweet moments of connection between parents and children are at the core of my art. I think my client’s quote above when she received her gallery sums it up for me. Raw emotion and real love is what make the perfect family photos.
