For some reason, evolution wrote itself in a way that young children's memories fade more easily. Not even experts know for sure why this happens. The only way to recapture these memories is through childhood photos. These are not so much a reflection of everyday life and more of an emotional security blanket. For our little ones, but for us parents as well. You'd be amazed how many wonderful moments are lost in the minutiae of daily parenting tasks. Photography anchors memories and experiences, and I want to carry that anchor everywhere.
