Spring Maternity Photoshoot in Holland Park

My admiration goes to all those that had a baby during the pandemic or expecting a little one now in lockdown 2.0. Any pregnancy comes with its own set of anxieties and I can only imagine that things aren't made easy by a pandemic removing almost your entire support network. No matter how hard and lonely this journey seems, we will all look back at it and ask ourselves "How did we get through?".

So here’s where photography has power. A maternity photoshoot is proof that along with uncertainty, a pregnancy brings excitement, romance, love and hope. Come April, I can meet you anywhere you want, because all you need is to enjoy each other's company whilst I capture one of the most important times in your life - waiting for your baby.

If you need further proof, here’s the most wonderful gallery from a recent Spring maternity photoshoot in Holland Park, West London. Our session started early in the morning so we could take advantage of the best spots in Holland Park: the amazing Japanese gardens with its waterfall and romantic sakura, the camellias in the English garden and the green backdrop of the woods near Notting Hill. This park is definitely a favourite of mine for couple and maternity photography, lots of diversity and also privacy for a romantic pregnancy photo shoot.

If you’re thinking of organising your own maternity photoshoot in Holland Park or any other area in London, drop me a message and let’s capture some magical Spring portraits.
