London vacation photographer - visiting London with a Baby
As much as I appreciate what London has to offer in terms of architecture, I have to admit that this is not what drives or informs my London Vacation Family Photo Shoots. For Family Vacation photos, I am looking to capture the love and the joy of spending quality time with your little ones. Capturing sweet moments of connection between parents and children are at the core of my art. This is especially true when I have new babies in front of my lens.
Family vacation photo sessions can be a bit overwhelming for infants due to loud traffic noises, the cold wind, the lack of benches around the main landmarks in Central London and so on. Babies need freedom to explore and a quiet pace to take in new environments. That’s why I like to combine urban locations with a more relaxed setting - a local park or a hotel room. For this winter session, we knew the park option is out of question. The lovely January sunshine always comes with chilly winds so we decided to walk back to the AirBnb flat. An indoor setting allows parents to engage with their baby in a meaningful way - it’s definitely easier to play silly games when you’re warm and a hot cup of tea is brewing nearby. Without the need to extra layers, we can show those delicious baby rolls, I so dearly miss them from the time my son was a baby. You know that incredible feeling when your baby smiles at you? That rush of serotonin warmth coupled with a gentle I love you whisper...? Well, that’s the FEELING I want to capture in your family photos so you could hold on to it forever.
If the first session of the year is an indication of how things will unfold, then 2023 will be the best year ever. I am feeling very grateful. Here's a slice of London romance with the youngest and cutest little tourist. If you are looking for a London vacation photographer and a relaxed photo taking experience, then I cannot wait to meet and capture your family. Please do get in touch today, already booking spring and summer date for 2023.
