How do I find a photographer whilst traveling?
If you are looking for a vacation photographer, ask yourself ‘‘What do I want to remember?’’. Is it the cultural experiences, the food, the walking around beautiful landmarks or is it loving moments of connection with the little ones? The latter is what moves me to create art with your family.
Sometimes I have this little problem where anxiety steals away from my ability to be fully present, especially when traveling. Not in the sense that I don't experience joy (or I appreciate it as it happens), but I tend to question it - IS IT ENOUGH? SHOULD I DO MORE? HOW DO I MAKE IT BETTER? The only lens shift that works for me is photography. Receiving scans in my inbox from our family adventures grounds me so deeply, anchors my experience in NOW and brings me to tears of how wonderful things are, with nothing to add or subtract, it is all there. All there's left is to genuinely enjoy it.
I do hope my family vacation photography brings the same feelings of gratitude and appreciation to the families I meet. There's nothing better than this here.
